Lots of News, including Star Trek: Discovery

The new Star Trek show, Discovery began airing on CBS(in US) and Netflix (non-US) last month, and what an incredible looking show it is. We’re happy to see that Doug Jones has such large and interesting role as Lt. Saru. What do you think of him so far?

Doug is also starring in Guillermo del Toro’s new film, The Shape of Water. It has been getting great reviews and we’re so excited to see it. Catch the trailer HERE.

Another new popular sci-fi show, The Orville on Fox, featured Rico E. Anderson. He plays the Moclan doctor in Episode 3, “About a Girl”. Let’s hope we see more of him in this hilarious show.

And David Lim (fresh off Season 2 of Quantico) has landed a series regular in the new CBS show, S.W.A.T. The producers were simply raving about him in this article. We know he’ll be just fantastic. S.W.A.T. premieres Thursday, November 2 at 10 PM on CBS

Manu Intiraymi appears in the quirky and hilarious, rom-com, Literally Right Before Aaronwith Justin Long, Colbie Smolders, John Cho and Kristen Schaal. It’s in theaters now, check out the trailer HERE Manu will make you laugh!

Ann Hu will appear in Lifetime’s “Wicked Moms Club” airing this Saturday at 8/7c on Lifetime Movies. Get a sneak peek HERE How wicked will Ann be?

The fan film Renegades aired its final episode this summer, featuring our own Tim Russ, Hana Hatae and Ryan T. Husk, with VFX from Tobias Richter. You can catch this epic sci-fi show (starring too many former Trek actors to list) HERE.

And Armin Shimerman stars in the short, sci-fi, thriller “Followed Back”, written and directed by Scott Baker. It will begin playing in film festivals all around the US in the coming year, and then will appear online. Stay tuned for info on where you can see it.

Morgan Lariah wrote a new sci-fi script “Full Take”, that’s a finalist for the 2017 Sundance/YouTube New Voices lab. Can’t wait to see that one get made.

Finally, we are planning the VIP-Cast’n’Crew Screening of the film in Los Angeles. This was one of the perks offered in the original Kickstarter. If you didn’t get a chance to get a ticket then, we are going to open it up again very soon. Be on the lookout for that, it will be your chance to be the first to see the film in a great theater and walk the red carpet with some of the stars like Doug Jones, Tim Russ and Marina Sirtis…
